D.CAMP, the Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs that supports startups, announced on the 15th that it will hold the “Batch 2 Demo Day,” a startup event, on the 30th at the D.CAMP Front1 in Gongdeok-dong, Seoul. “Batch” is a startup support program launched by D.CAMP in 2024.

Each quarter, approximately 10 startups are selected to receive support such as residency at D.CAMP Front1 and expert mentoring across various fields for up to 18 months. Following this period, a performance showcase is held to determine whether additional follow-up support will be provided.

As of March, startups had already been selected through Batch 6, and startups participating in Batch 2 will hold their performance presentation event later this month.

The theme of this event is “Deep Dive,” featuring deep-tech startups developing core technologies. Accordingly, seven startups selected from a highly competitive ratio of 69:1 for Batch 2 will participate.

The participating companies include LOAS, which uses AI to analyze sounds generated by equipment and detect abnormalities; Viewzene, a developer of smart films that improve heating and cooling efficiency by blocking heat when attached to windows; Tesollo, a multi-joint robotic gripper developer; Eflow, a company developing ultra-compact high-output motors; TR, which uses AI to detect respiratory diseases; VPP Lab, a virtual power plant technology developer; and DS, which utilizes AI to detect semiconductor defects.

Kim Bo-mi, Director of Business Operations at D.CAMP, stated, “We hope that through Demo Day, the innovative technologies developed by startups will receive proper recognition for their value and achieve even greater growth.”
