[Smart Tech Korea] Noise that you can barely hear, now find it with your eyes

‘Sound visualization equipment’ that allows you to see sound with your eyes was introduced at ‘The 12th Smart Tech Korea (hereinafter referred to as the exhibition)’.

Jaeseung Park, head of the application team at SOUNDCAM KOREA’s technical support department, said, “You can visually check abnormal noise that is difficult to find,” and explained, “We measure the general noise in the field and turn it into data, and analyze the frequency with AI to visually show the unusual noise.” .

The equipment displays the part where the noise occurs on the screen. Because it detects noises that humans cannot hear, it can check various abnormalities in process equipment such as electrical noise, rotor noise, and air leaks.

Director Park Jae-seung said, “In addition to facility inspection, it can be used in various fields such as checking home appliances and vehicle noise,” and added, “We have also developed a real-time drone tracking system by applying technology to distinguish only specific noises.”

Meanwhile, this exhibition currently underway at COEX in Seoul will close on the 30th.
