A variety of video AI technologies appeared at ‘AI & Big Data Show’, Korea’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) exhibition held at COEX until the 21st.

An AI safety management solution that combines video data and audio data also stood out.

LOAS (CEO Jae-Hyeon Lee) started out as a safety management solution that analyzes acoustic data using AI, and recently expanded to include video. After collecting minute abnormal sound data from mechanical devices, the exact location of the malfunction is indicated through video. According to officials, the technology that tracks the location of sound sources in real time and analyzes transient abnormal noises to create acoustic images at 100 frames per second is the world's first and only original technology of LOAS.

The explanation is that by attaching sound and video data collection devices to drones and self-driving robots, they can be used for production line and field safety management purposes throughout the manufacturing industry.
